The Kelly Reeves Alumni Foundation was created to help kids in desperate need of support during the most difficult time in their lives.  When children are afflicted by life threatening illness and disease; the most important thing they need is support from their family.  Many families travel far from home and spend several weeks or months to get treatment for their seriously ill or injured children. And, for children facing a serious medical crisis, nothing seems scarier than not having mom and dad close by for love and support.  The Kelly Reeves Alumni Foundation is proud to be able to help keep these families together by partnering with Ronald McDonald House Charities – Central Texas.  RMHCT have facilities and support programs to offer families a place to stay close to their children while in treatment without the burden of hotel costs, restaurant bills, etc.

The Kelly Reeves Alumni Foundation was founded by football players from the Round Rock Independent School District.  We were inspired by Kelly Reeves, who was the first head football coach of Westwood High School and the Athletic Director of RRISD. Coach Reeves was helping, encouraging, teaching, leading, guiding and coaching children for 25 years in RRISD.  And many of his lessons continue to be an influence on a great deal of people in RRISD and surrounding areas.  We hope to follow in his footsteps and help children when they need it most.

Our annual memorial game will be held at the Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex in North Austin off of Parmer Lane. This is a full contact football game that will be held on Sept 17th, 2016. The participants in this game are alumni of local High Schools in the area; many of the players were influenced by Coach Reeves on and off the field. Over the past 3 years we have seen a steady increase every year in attendance and with your support we hope to exceed a record number of spectators this year.

With everyone’s help & support we were able to donate $4000 to Ronald McDonald Charities Central Texas!
